Light-up marquee letters and numbers spell out initials, a name, an age or a brand in the room, and they turn the photo booth corner into the spot guests want in their pictures. Rent them with any of our photo booths or on their own across Toronto and the GTA.

Marquee letters are large free-standing letters and numbers with bulb lights on the face. They give a room a focal point and they read clearly in photos, even from across a dark hall. Couples use them for initials or “LOVE”, families use them for a name or an age, and companies use them for a short brand name or an event hashtag.
Because we are a photo booth company, we place the letters with the camera in mind. They can sit beside the booth, in front of a backdrop or flower wall, behind the head table or at the entrance, so they appear in booth prints, phone photos and the work of your event photographer.
The couple’s initials with an ampersand, “LOVE”, “MR & MRS” or the wedding year. See wedding photo booths.
The age, from a first birthday to a 50th, or the guest of honour’s name. See birthday party photo booths.
The number 15 or 16 or her name, lit up beside the booth. See quinceañera photo booths.
A short brand name, an event name or a hashtag for launches, galas and holiday parties. See corporate photo booths.
The graduation year or “PROM” for formals and graduations. See school event photo booths.
“BABY”, “OH BABY” or “SHE SAID YES” for showers and engagement parties.
Send these details and the written quote confirms the letters, the setup and the price:
Not every word or character is available for every date, so the quote lists exactly what we can supply.
Light-up letters need a power outlet close to where they stand. We run the cables along the floor and tape or cover them so guests do not trip on them, and we keep the letters out of walkways, exits and the path the catering team uses.
Letters are free-standing, so they need a flat, level floor. Tell us if the spot is on grass, a stage, a dance floor or a raised platform. For outdoor events, the letters need cover from rain and a safe power source, and your quote notes what the venue or tent company provides.
Some venues have rules about decor on stages, in front of fire exits or near candles. Share your venue’s vendor rules and we plan around them.
Marquee letters work with every booth we rent. A few combinations clients ask for:
Every photo booth booking already includes delivery, setup, an attendant, a custom print template and a backdrop. See all photo booth services and props, backdrops and print templates.
The room changes how letters look. In a large banquet hall in Vaughan, Woodbridge or Mississauga, letters placed on the dance floor edge or beside the head table hold their own against high ceilings and coloured uplighting. In a downtown Toronto hotel ballroom or event space, they often sit at the entrance or beside the booth, where guests pass on the way in. In a restaurant buyout in North York or Richmond Hill, space is tighter, so a short word or a set of initials usually fits better than a long name.
For backyard parties and tents in Oakville, Markham or Aurora, plan a dry, level spot and a power source before the day. If you are not sure what will fit, send a photo of the space or the venue floor plan with your quote request and we suggest a layout.
Pricing depends on the number of characters, the date, the venue and the hours, and whether you also book a photo booth or other decor. We do not publish a flat rate. Send the word or numbers, the venue and the date and we reply with a written quote.
