Backdrop Rental Toronto: Flower Walls and Event Backdrops

Every Just Great Events photo booth already comes with a backdrop. This page is for something different: renting a backdrop or a flower wall by itself. Hosts use one behind a head table or a sweetheart table, for the ceremony, behind a dessert table, on a stage for speeches, or as a standing photo wall where guests take their own pictures on their phones.

Where you put a backdrop decides how often it shows up in photos. A few things we look at with you:

• Light. A backdrop near the dance floor or under coloured uplighting changes colour in photos. A spot with even light keeps flower colours true.
• Traffic. Guests stop in front of a photo wall, so it needs space in front and should not block the bar, the buffet or an exit.
• What is behind it. A free-standing frame needs a little space behind it, and we keep it clear of fire exits and doors.
• The camera. If a photographer or a booth will use it, we set the backdrop where the lens sees the whole wall without a window or exit sign in frame.

Backdrops are free-standing on a frame or stand, so nothing needs to be fixed to the venue’s walls. We deliver and install before guests arrive and remove the backdrop after the event, or at the time the venue sets. Tell us about stairs, elevators, loading docks and parking so the crew plans the delivery.

Outdoor backdrops need a flat, level spot and some shelter from wind and rain. Flower walls and fabric backdrops do not like strong wind, so for patios, backyards and open tents we talk through the spot before the day.

If you want more than the backdrop that comes with the booth, a rented flower wall or printed wall can sit behind the Signature Classic booth, the mirror booth or the Vogue booth, so every print carries the look of your decor. Some clients keep the booth on its standard backdrop and put the flower wall at the entrance, so guests have two photo spots. The 360 video booth needs open space around the platform, so we place any backdrop behind it at a safe distance from the arm.
