No-print photo booth with an attendant

Digital Photo Booth Rental in Toronto & the GTA

A photo booth without a printer: guests get their photos on their phones by QR code, text or email, and you receive every shot in a private online gallery. For corporate events, brand activations and weddings across Toronto and the GTA.

Priced on a written quote. Unlimited sessions, a trained attendant and a private online gallery with every booking.

Digital Photo Booth

A photo booth that sends everything to phones

A digital photo booth works like any other photo booth up to the moment of the print, and then skips it. Guests pose in front of a backdrop with props, the photo appears with your design on it, and they send it to their own phone by scanning a QR code or entering a phone number or email address. Just Great Events offers this as a digital-only package for clients who want the photos and the sharing without paper.

Every booking with us includes delivery, setup and teardown, a trained attendant for the booked hours, unlimited sessions, a custom design on the photos, a backdrop, props, instant digital sharing and a private online gallery. Options such as GIFs and boomerangs are confirmed on your quote, along with the booth setup and the price. To see how the digital booth sits next to our print booths, you can compare every booth, or read about photo booth rental in Toronto in general.

For guests

How guests use a digital photo booth

Pose

Guests pick props and step in front of the backdrop. The attendant sets up each group and starts the session.

Share

The photo comes up with your names, logo or event design on it, and guests send it to themselves by QR code, text or email before they walk away.

Keep

After the event you receive every photo in a private online gallery, including sessions guests did not share.

Because nothing waits on a printer, the line tends to move quickly, which helps at events where guests drop in for a few minutes, such as a store opening or a conference break.

What it captures

Photos, plus options such as GIFs and boomerangs

Digital booths in general can capture several kinds of content. Here is what to ask for, and what we confirm on the quote.

Still photos

The standard output: a photo of each group with your custom design, sent to phones and saved to your gallery.

GIFs

A GIF strings several quick frames into a short looping animation. Whether GIFs are part of your booking is confirmed on your quote.

Boomerangs

A boomerang is a short burst of video that plays forward and backward on a loop. It is also an option confirmed on your quote.

If moving content is what you are after, the 360 Video Booth films slow-motion clips on a platform from $400 for two hours, with your overlay and music, and sends them to phones the same way.

Who books it

Events that choose a digital booth over prints

Corporate events and brand activations

Launches, client events and holiday parties where the photo carries the logo and goes straight onto guests’ phones. Opt-in guest data capture is listed on our corporate events page; whether it runs with the digital booth is confirmed on your quote.

Conferences and trade shows

A booth space at a show, where visitors stop for a photo between sessions and walk the rest of the hall with it on their phone.

Low-waste weddings

Couples who want to cut paper and single-use items still get every photo, and guests still take their copies home on their phones. See wedding photo booths.

Drop-in and shorter events

Open houses, store openings, mixers and receptions where guests arrive and leave over a few hours and a quick photo suits the flow.

School and campus events

Orientation days, graduations and formals, with the school name or crest on every photo. See school events.

Parties that live on social media

Sweet sixteens, birthdays and showers where the photos are going online that night anyway. See birthday parties.

Just Great Events also plans events, and a digital booth can be one part of a day we organize; see corporate event planning.

Pricing and venue notes

Digital photo booth price, space and power

The digital photo booth is priced on a written quote. The quote lists the booth, the hours, any travel outside the GTA and every add-on before you confirm.

For a sense of range, our published 2-hour prices within the GTA run from $400 for the 360 Video Booth and $450 for the Signature Classic to $600 for the Mirror and AI booths. Those are not the digital booth’s price. The guide to photo booth rental cost in Toronto explains what changes a quote.

Floor space and power for the digital setup are also confirmed on the quote. Send a photo of the spot, the measurements if you have them, and where the nearest outlet is. For a trade show booth, send the booth size and the show’s power rules. Our booths can run outdoors under cover, such as a tent or covered patio with a level floor and power, but not in direct sun, rain or below freezing.

FAQ

Digital photo booth questions

How the no-print booth works, how sharing and the gallery work, and what we confirm on your quote.

How the digital booth works

What is a digital photo booth?
A digital photo booth is a photo booth with no printer. Guests pose with props in front of a backdrop and receive the photo on their phone by QR code, text or email. Just Great Events offers it as a digital-only package with an attendant and a private online gallery.
How does a digital photo booth work at an event?
The attendant sets up each group, the booth takes the photo with your design on it, and guests send it to themselves on the spot by scanning a QR code or entering a phone number or email. After the event you receive every photo in a private gallery.
Does the digital photo booth print anything?
No. The digital booth is our no-print package, so there is no printer and no paper. If you want prints for some guests, the Signature Classic prints a strip or photo and sends the same digital copy.
Can the digital booth make GIFs?
Options such as GIFs are confirmed on your quote. A GIF strings a few quick frames into a short looping animation that plays on any phone. Tell us in your quote request if GIFs matter to you.
Can the digital booth make boomerangs?
Boomerangs, short bursts of video that play forward and backward on a loop, are also an option confirmed on your quote. If you want full video, the 360 Video Booth films slow-motion clips from $400 for two hours.
Is there an attendant with the digital booth?
Yes. A trained attendant comes with every booking and runs the booth for the booked hours. They set up groups, help guests share to their phones and keep the line moving.
Are props and a backdrop included?
Yes. Every booking includes a backdrop and a prop kit picked for the event. For a company event the backdrop can be plain or carry the logo; tell us the brand colours when you ask for the quote.

Prices and booking

How much does a digital photo booth cost?
Our digital photo booth is priced on a written quote, which lists the booth, the hours and every extra. For reference, our published 2-hour prices within the GTA run from $400 for the 360 Video Booth to $600 for the Mirror and AI booths. See photo booth rental cost in Toronto.
Is a digital booth cheaper than a print booth?
The digital booth is priced on a written quote, so ask for one with the same hours as the print booth you are considering and compare the two. Our Signature Classic print booth is $450 for two hours within the GTA.
What is included in a digital photo booth booking?
Delivery, setup and teardown, a trained attendant, unlimited sessions, a custom design on every photo, a backdrop, props, instant sharing by QR code, text or email, and a private online gallery. Travel within Toronto is part of the base rate.
How do I book the digital photo booth?
Send your date, venue, city, guest count and hours by phone or text at (437) 551-8285, on WhatsApp or through the quote form. You receive a written quote; once you confirm, we design the frame for your photos and send it for approval.
How far in advance should I book?
As soon as your date and venue are set. Saturdays in spring and summer and December office party season fill first. Weekday events, which many corporate bookings are, often work on shorter notice.
How many hours can I book the digital booth for?
The hours are set on your quote. Our published booth prices are 2-hour rentals with extra hours available, and a conference or trade show can run longer. Tell us the start and end times, or the show days, and we price that.

Sharing, gallery and data

How quickly do guests get their photos?
On the spot. Guests send the photo to their phone by QR code, text or email before they leave the booth, so it is ready to post or forward right away.
Do we get all the photos after the event?
Yes. Every photo taken during the booked hours goes into a private online gallery for you, including sessions guests did not share. Companies use it for newsletters and social posts, couples for an album.
Can our logo appear on every photo?
Yes. Every booking includes a custom design, so your logo, colours, hashtag or campaign line can sit on each photo. Your team approves the design before the event. Wider branding options are on the corporate events page.
Can we collect guest emails with the digital booth?
Opt-in guest data capture is listed on our corporate events page: guests opt in on the screen, nothing is pre-ticked and the file goes only to your team. Whether it runs with the digital booth is confirmed on your quote.
Can the photos show on a screen during the event?
A live slideshow is listed on our corporate events page. Whether it can run alongside the digital booth at your event is confirmed on your quote, so mention it in your request.
Can guests post the photos to social media?
Yes. Once the photo is on their phone, guests can post it wherever they like. A hashtag or handle in the photo design helps you find the posts later, and you still receive every photo in your private gallery.
Is the online gallery private?
Yes. The gallery is a private online gallery for you, the client, and you decide who to share it with. Guests receive only the photos they send to themselves at the booth.

Events and guests

Is a digital photo booth a good choice for corporate events?
Yes, particularly launches, client events and brand activations, where the branded photo ends up on guests’ phones and feeds. See corporate events for branding and planning, and ask for the digital booth on your quote.
Can I use the digital booth at a trade show or conference?
Yes. Visitors stop for a photo between sessions and take it with them on their phone, which suits a show floor better than handing out prints. Send the booth size and the show’s power rules with your request.
Is a digital booth a good fit for a wedding?
Yes, if you want to avoid paper or plan to collect everything online. Guests still leave with their photos on their phones and you get the full gallery. Couples who want a printed guest book usually pick a print booth instead. See wedding photo booths.
Is a digital photo booth more eco-friendly?
It removes the paper and printing supplies a print booth uses, which is why low-waste weddings and companies with sustainability goals ask for it. The booth still travels to your venue, and travel within Toronto is part of the base rate.
Does a digital booth work for short or drop-in events?
Yes. Store openings, open houses, mixers and receptions where guests come and go suit it, because sharing to phones is quick and nothing waits on a printer. The hours are set on your quote.
Is the digital booth suitable for kids and teen parties?
Yes. Teens at sweet sixteens and birthdays usually want the photo on their phone to post that night, and the attendant helps younger guests. Add-ons such as face painting or a bubble show can go on the same quote.
Can the digital booth be part of an event Just Great Events plans?
Yes. Just Great Events also plans events, and a digital booth can be one part of the day. See corporate events; the booth and the planning work are listed on one written quote.

Space, power and areas

How much space does the digital photo booth need?
Space for the digital setup is confirmed on your quote. Send a photo of the spot and the measurements. For comparison, our open-air print booths need about a 10 by 10 foot area and work in 8 by 8 feet when the room is tight.
What power does the digital booth need?
Power needs are confirmed on your quote. Our booths run from a standard outlet near the booth, so tell us where the nearest outlet is, and for trade shows, what the organizer provides.
Can the digital booth be used outdoors?
Our booths can run outdoors under cover: a tent, gazebo or covered patio with a level floor and access to power. Direct sun, rain and temperatures below freezing do not work for the equipment.
Which cities do you serve with the digital booth?
North York, Toronto, Scarborough, Richmond Hill, Aurora, Oakville, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham and Hamilton, plus Etobicoke, Burlington, Milton, Newmarket, Woodbridge, Thornhill, Ajax, Pickering, Whitby and Oshawa. Travel within Toronto is part of the base rate.
Do you charge travel outside Toronto?
Travel within Toronto is part of the base rate. Outside the GTA, travel is quoted per kilometre and shown on the written quote, so the full amount is clear before you confirm.

Comparisons

What is the difference between a digital and a print photo booth?
A print booth hands every guest a strip or photo and usually sends a digital copy too. A digital booth sends the photo to phones only, by QR code, text or email, with no printer or paper. Both come with an attendant, props, a backdrop and a private gallery.
Digital photo booth or 360 Video Booth?
The digital booth sends photos, with options such as GIFs and boomerangs confirmed on your quote. The 360 Video Booth films slow-motion clips with a rotating camera arm on a platform, with your overlay and music, from $400 for two hours.
Digital photo booth or AI Photo Booth?
The digital booth gives guests their own photo with your design. The AI Photo Booth photographs guests and reimagines them in a theme such as astronaut or vintage Paris, then prints and shares the result, from $600.
Can I book the digital booth together with a print booth?
Yes. Multi-booth bookings are quoted on request. Some events run a print booth such as the Signature Classic in one room and a digital booth in another, or you can compare every booth first.
