How Just Great Events collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit justgreatevents.com, ask for a quote, book a photo booth or use a booth at an event.

Just Great Events is a photo booth and event services company at 126 Willowdale Ave., Suite #3, Toronto, ON M2N 4Y2. We follow the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), the federal law that applies to private businesses in Ontario.

The contact and quote form asks for your name, email address, phone number, event date, event type, the booth or package you are interested in and a message about your event. Only the name and email address are required. When you call, text, email or message us on WhatsApp, we receive whatever you choose to share, such as your number and the details of your event.
To prepare a written quote and serve your event we keep the booking details: contact name and number, venue address, date and hours, the services booked, the print design files you send (names, logos, photos for the template) and payment records. We do not store full credit card numbers on this website.
The booth takes the photos and videos your guests choose to take. If a guest asks for a copy by text or email at the booth, the phone number or email address they type in is used to send that copy. At some corporate events the client asks us to add a question or an opt-in at the booth; the client decides what is asked, and guests can skip it. After the event the host receives a private online gallery of the photos.
Like most websites, our server records technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and the time of the visit. This is used for security and to keep the site working. We also use Google Analytics, described below.
We do not sell personal information. We do not send marketing emails or texts without your consent, as required by Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). If you agree to hear from us and later change your mind, reply or email us and we will stop.
When you send the form, call or message us, you consent to us using your information to reply and to prepare your quote. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contract limits; if you withdraw it, we may not be able to provide some services. Event hosts are responsible for letting their guests know a photo booth will be at the event.
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need:
Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States and the European Union. When that happens the information is subject to the laws of those places, and lawful authorities there may be able to access it. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
The website uses a small number of cookies:

You can block these cookies in your browser settings or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.Links to Instagram, WhatsApp, Google Maps and Google reviews take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
Photos and videos from your event belong in your private gallery. We show photos from events on this website and on our Instagram as examples of our work. If you would rather your event photos were not shown, tell us before or after the event. If you appear in a photo on our site or social media and want it removed, email info@justgreatevents.com and we will take it down.
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, then delete it or make it anonymous, except where we must keep records longer for legal, accounting or tax reasons. Quote requests that do not become bookings are not kept longer than needed to follow up on your request.
We protect information with access limited to the people who need it, password-protected accounts, an encrypted (HTTPS) website and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as card numbers through the website form.
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete information we no longer need. Send your request to info@justgreatevents.com. We will reply within 30 days, and we may ask you to confirm your identity first.
If you have a concern, contact us first and we will try to resolve it. You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Our website is meant for adults planning events. Children often use the booth at birthday parties and family events; their photos are taken at the request of the event host and are delivered to the host. We do not knowingly collect contact details from children through the website.
